Newington, VA – Feb. 26, 2009 – Communications Engineering, Inc. (CEI) announced today that it has expanded its sales and customer service capabilities by adding industry veteran Chuck Motta as sales representative, Outside Sales for CEI Sales, LLC.
Motta, who has more than 40 years of experience in the broadcast industry, comes to CEI Sales from Chyron Corporation in Melville, NY, where he was most recently director of National Accounts for the ChyTV Group, with responsibility for special accounts, OEMs, large retail accounts and government agencies. Previously, he was manager of the Mid-Atlantic Region and general manager of the Government Systems Division at Chyron. At CEI Sales, he will focus on serving existing customers and expanding CEI’s business opportunities with government and commercial clients by emphasizing broadcast, A/V and multimedia equipment sales.
Prior to joining Chyron, Motta was vice president of International Sales and Marketing for Prime Image in Saratoga, CA. Previously he was vice president/general manager for Professional Products in Bethesda, MD, after serving as vice president of Operations and marketing manager.
Since being formed as a subsidiary in 2007 to handle CEI’s product sales business, CEI Sales has experienced significant growth, and the addition of Motta will enable the company to keep pace with the increased need for sales support and customer service. CEI Sales is an authorized reseller for many of the leading manufacturers of broadcast and audio/visual products.
